It needs to be said that whilst French ATC does make life difficult for ALL military aircraft passing through its airspace, they have been allowing loaded bombers to fly through their country daily.
There have been a few instances where they haven’t, but the majority of flights have passed through France.

The Israeli Air Force has repeatedly bombed Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran. They falsely claim that they are only targeting military equipment and aircraft used by regime officials, but they have targeted passenger aircraft as well.

F15s can carry 3 5000lbs penetrators each too btw.

@carryunwind @AmitSegal They had to ensure that it was safe for the B-52‘s to fly. Once they achieved air superiority, it was safe to bring them in. They are not highly maneuverable planes and are easy targets.

Also Iran hasn't had a functional air defence since week 2.

The government of Iran is run by religious fanatics who believe they are fighting a holy war where nothing is more honorable than being martyred.
Bombing the regime into submission is not going to happen. They will never submit. They will fight to the death, which will inspire more fanatics for years to come.
Factions of Islam and Christianity have been at war many times over the last 900+ years and that's not going to change just because we install a friendly government.

@carryunwind @AmitSegal They have been bombing the missile cities for a month. They are buried under a mountain like 1000 meters deep. They been stacking bunker busters trying to break through, but in all honesty they will probably have to use a tactical nuke to actually destroy it.
