Graveyard Keeper’s free-to-keep giveaway was a masterclass in DLC economics. tinyBuild made the 8-year-old game free for a few days to celebrate Graveyard Keeper 2. They made around 250K dollars in DLC sales on Steam and PC alone, plus a new all-time peak of 46,000 concurrent players.

I think Gout Gout is a good guy. A lot of people attack him on X because he is ethnically South Sudanese and I think that’s sad. He’s a good guy on a personal level. As soon as he won he ran over to hug his white Australian coach. So it’s not like he has crazy race communist views. He was completely coached and trained by Australian coaches at Australian schools, so Australia gains sporting prestige from his victories. I enjoy his sporting ability, it’s impressive. It’s cool that he grew up and went to school in Ipswich, like 30 minutes away from me. I feel a sense of vicarious victory when he wins. People should be more normal and chill. Enjoying Gout Gout’s victories doesn’t mean that you have to endorse infinity migration. You can just enjoy one cool individual guy who is doing good work

We’re getting ready to sell our house. I’ve lived in the same neighborhood for almost 40yrs. Years ago, shortly after we bought it, we found a false panel in one of the walls… and behind it was a box of antique coins. So I called our Realtor and asked her to track down the children of the previous owners for me. Everyone thought I was nuts for returning them, but I knew the previous owners. Bud had put these coins in little bags, complete with notes to his grandchildren…explaining what they were, and why he was giving each coin to that child. I couldn’t in good conscience keep them, knowing what they would mean to Bud’s family.

That’s a very good example of male vs female interaction. We as women like to complain but not necessarily want a solution, just some good old empathy. As a male if you just say something along the lines of : oh I’m sorry I hope you’ll feel better (and if you are close / married : hug her) you will prevent 80% of drama with your female friends.
