Praetorian 6, 787th MP BN

Yesterday was Fill Day for D/787. They picked up a STO2 class for MP AIT and we are already off to a great start! Welcome Defender Soldiers, we can’t wait to train you and include you in our MP Regiment!

You might have noticed a new smiling face on this account and that is because after two amazing years I’m handing over 787 to LTC Douglass tomorrow. Thank you for the honor of heading up this amazing organization! -LTC Tokach

@LethalityJane I think it’s become more acceptable FINALLY that kids may be in our work places. But I do remember going into work with my parents after hours before and it was always kind of fun. My mom worked in a research lab and that was cool.

@LethalityJane Everyone just kind of pitches in, co-workers are like “hey I’ll distract your kid and we’ll shred paper and color on the white boards for a bit while you attend this meeting.” Having an environment where that’s ok has really helped moral. Not everything can be done teleworking.

@LethalityJane As we come out of COVID we have lots of kids at work. The day care centers have often suddenly been shut down and then what are Soldiers supposed to do? Even if they work from home there are still events or people they often have to meet with so they will come in for a short bit.

Tonight was the last LEX I could participate in as a role player in a traffic stop lane and I truly will miss this because it enabled me to witness first hand the great training our cadre provide and I’m so proud of all the MPs we produce here in 787 MP BN!

The Praetorians started the day off right with the Fun Run 5K, we promoted the former B/787 XO to CPT and then he and Captains Morgan and Mortell graduated from MP CCC along with one of my former UWSP cadets CPT Loomer! So proud of my team!

The Praetorian Cadre rounded out the Army Birthday with some Safety Stand Down training hosted by ASAP. The driving course, dodgeball and other activities were actually quite fun!

Happy 247th Birthday to our US Army! The Praetorians ran strong this morning at the MSCoE and Fort Leonard Wood run.

The Praetorians of 787 MP BN in June 2022. It took us a hot minute to get a battalion cadre photo without masks but we finally got it and we look great! Excellence Always!

It’s hard to farewell great leaders and even harder to farewell great chaplains who are so tied to the morale of a unit! We will miss you Chaplain Sharp and I know he and his family will make a huge impact in Korea!

It’s pretty amazing to watch junior leaders like 1LT Thompson from B/787 set goals, work hard and just smash them! The CG pinned on his ESB this afternoon. Next up for this young leader is Sapper School!

We are so proud of these Praetorians! DS Condon from A/787 and 1LT Thompson from B/787 earned their Expert Soldier Badges this morning with DS Condon earning Perfect Edge! Excellence Always!

I’m proud to call this amazing lady a friend. She supports our Army community in so many ways as a DA Civilian and Military Spouse.
