me: homunculus, have you seen my scrying orb?
my loathsome and suspiscously orb-shaped homunculus:

can i come over and be Round like this

@Maptysk @VittelMax He's just saying words for the sake of saying words.
English

@VittelMax Why are Etruscans almost indistinguishable from Latins genetically then
English

This is how Etruscans were born btw. Cromagnid pre-Aryan short aristocrats of the type of La Rochefoucault —who stemmed from a 5000yo pre-Aryan aristocratic bloodline— acquired WHG girls to produce a race capable of fighting Aryan invasion

@jacktherip72733 @zajako_ I sincerely doubt that anyone on this side of the internet can tell you what the Centum / Satem split is.
English

@zajako_ That list is complete bullshit. They aren't even related in the Kentum and Satem split. Greek and Armenian are Kentum I believe and Albanian is more closely related to satem. Linguistically speaking they should come from different groups of IE populations
English

This is correct. The Corded Ware branch is responsible for the vast majority of Indo-European expansion
I believe the only true Yamnaya languages still spoken today are:
- Greek
- Albanian
- Armenian
Tom Rowsell@Tom_Rowsell
Don’t let the Yamnaya eclipse their more successful younger relative, the Corded Ware. About 95% of all Indo-European language speakers on Earth speak a Corded Ware rather than direct Yamnaya derived language

@7PrinceInExile7 @SOM8400 @creepydotorg @DrNabadNolol Eumelanin is a dominant phenotype while European pheomelanin is not

English

@MelaninisOP_ @SOM8400 @creepydotorg @DrNabadNolol That's not how that works. All it takes is a few offspring on the second generation and positive sexual selection.

This cat knows exactly how beautiful its fur pattern is… so it always curls up into a perfect circle when it sleeps. 👌👌

@MAWKVLT why does he look like a chudjak version of PewDiePie
English

@Maptysk As we continue to refine models of linguistic influence via aDNA, it will become apparent that the strict categories of "I.E." vs "non I.E." are essentially useless labels.
English

This is extremely interesting although unsure what to think of it. At the very least, it shows that Thracian has a huge pre-IE substrate, which would line up with Thracians being almost exclusively E-V13, a non-IE Farmer Haplogroup that likely entered and established itself as a distinct cultural group around 2000bc.

Intriguing new proposal from Kassian: Thracian (as far as it is attested at all) is Paleoeuropean, not IE academia.edu/165922216/Why_…
