🇭🇺 After Alex Tóth, keep an eye out on Ádám Madarász at Ferencváros. A very energetic 18-year-old midfielder. He’s strong in his defensive duels, works hard off the ball and he’s constantly looking to play the ball forward. Madarász looked calm when making the step up to Ferencváros’ first team in a couple of games already this season. His forward passing stood out to me in the second division. A very vertical midfielder who likes to go long. The other aspect that’s clear is that he’s a workhorse. He’ll press high, tracks back and makes a lot of important recoveries. Averaged 3.7 recoveries per 90 in the opposition’s half in the second division. 15 of his 22 recoveries in 180 minutes for Ferencváros’ first-team in the top flight were also in the opposition’s half. Still raw and he’ll make mistakes with his forward passing at times but he has exciting potential. Definitely could follow in Tóth’s footsteps and earn a move abroad if he is given the same chances.
