Just checked Rio he has 37km but not over and long distance so my hunch is you wouldnt want Rio and Rayan in the same team ie Rio and Barcola or Rayan and Munoz as examples As were not signing both its a mute point, but we do need real pace which will put the midfield under less pressure

Good thing is both Barcola and Rayan can play striker very effectively which means you have enough players with just 5 Rio Barcola Isak Munoz Rayan. but if you buy Rayan you really do need searing pace on the other flank as his pace is average over 2km an hour slower than Barcola, Hanvent checked Rio pace but he is still growing and will get faster

Nineteen years old, frightening pace, fearless in one against one situations, outstanding numbers in the Bundesliga, thriving on the biggest stage with Ivory Coast, and a player who looked tailor made for Liverpool's next great attack. He ticked every box. Which makes tonight's news from David Ornstein all the more gutting. For weeks, the noise coming out suggested Liverpool were confident. The whispers were positive, the expectation was building, and it felt like Richard Hughes had done the hard work. Then comes the revelation that Diomande has chosen PSG as his preferred destination, leaving Liverpool looking like they were chasing a deal that was never truly theirs to complete. That should rightly raise uncomfortable questions. This is beginning to feel like a pattern. Hughes appears to be spending a lot of time pursuing players whose minds are elsewhere. If reports that he is already lined up for Saudi Arabia carry any truth, then what exactly is Michael Edwards overseeing, and why are FSG allowing Liverpool's recruitment to sink into this sort of uncertainty? Supporters can argue the fee was too high, and perhaps it was. Plenty already believe Liverpool have dodged a financial gamble. Yet that misses the point for me. This was the player I wanted. The player I believed could define Liverpool's next era. Missing out hurts. I actually rate the squad much higher than most and believe we only need 3 high quality signings to be a force again Salah replacement A DM A RB Depth would be nice but from a first 11 if you get quality in those 3 signings with the players we have we challenge again Barcola Isak and Rio would be immense Whoever it is lets get behind Andoni and enjoy the season

They have to keep KVARA Dembele Doue Barcola Diomande Mbaye All happy and there buying the Monaco kid as well The trick however is that Barcola won't sign an extension and right now Dembele will not either hence the moves I think there is a lot of bluster around Barcola just as there was around Diaz so PSG can get top Dollar for Barcola Problem is anyone wants Barcola that deal isnt happening until August

Oh yes I would also love Barcola and from now we will see our timelines filled with rumours of Barcola. But PSG are at their absolute pomp. They have the spending capacity, so they can easily lure and retain players like Barcola, Diomande even for squad role. So let’s not buy the dream of Barcola 🙌🏻
