Trying to put this dream USA-DR matchup in perspective:
The projected lineups have combined for 52 All-Star Games, 32 Silver Sluggers, 11 Gold Gloves and 5 MVPs, all from players in their primes.

@ReedCarringer That number doesn’t include the rev share/NIL, which is what twitter is upset about (right or wrong). Obviously they have invested an insane amount into facilities, staff, support, etc.

@jthomps72 The 13M referenced here has nothing to do with NIL/Rev Sharing, which has been the gripe (whether valid or not). Nobody is arguing that they haven’t invested an insane amount in a renovated/expanded stadium, salaries, recruiting budget, etc.

Think of how many former college players that played in the minor leagues still have eligibility with Charles Bediako playing tonight for Bama. Leave after your junior year, make it to AA or AAA, but can’t crack the big leagues, go back, play another year in college.. why not??
