I want to try spray-drying a protein solution, but it's expensive to test. Does anybody have good preliminary experiments to run on proteins to see if they're at all amenable to spray-drying? Trying to decrease the risk of spending the $$$ unnecessarily. Thanks!🤗

@Biotechisbubble That is about exactly what one experiment at the core facility costs 😅 Could you share the model you got? And still interested in preliminary tests that might save the 5k if it proves to ruin the protein (if you have any you'd suggest). Thanks!

10 years ago I was one month into a summer internship in @Markpost's cultured meat lab, and ~2 months away from the first ever cultured beef tasting in London. Honestly pretty emotional to hear today's news about @UPSIDEfoods & @GOODMeat's USDA approval. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!

Major news - @upsidefoods' cultivated chicken has now completed the regulatory approval process having now received a grant of inspection from #USDA. For the first time, cultivated meat is approved for commercial production and sale in the US. This is a truly HISTORIC moment.
