Feel very grateful to @TNQDroughtHub and the extended ABL community for making this happen. Can’t wait to see the result for the “Industry Expert Series”. Thank you Jane Oorschot, Peter Lewis, Craig Berkman and Mareeba Bush Stays for a great experience.

@IamFarmerRenee At the last @BeefAustralia there was a pilot mentoring program. I think it was developed by DAF and maybe called the Advancing Beef Leaders (ABL) program. @JodieNT might be able to provide more information on that. @NTCattlemen have program too.

@AdamCoffeyNT 3/3 People like Don Heatley, Mike Stephens and Emma Black giving selflessly to set up the #ABLfoundation. Who could forget our 53 and growing alumni. We are thrilled and hopeful we can collaborate and contribute to better outcomes for our industry 😊.

@ALarard what a bloody fantastic program you initiated. So many mentoring programs on offer these days but this one appears to have hit the mark for so many 👏 Young beef industry leaders hail ‘life-changing’ program - Beef Central #comment-334789" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">beefcentral.com/news/young-bee…

A fantastic few days with the amazing participants in the Maranoa chapter of the Advancing Beef Leaders program on a supply chain tour. We ate, we observed, we talked, we questioned, we laughed, and we loved it all. Looking forward to catching up again.

@Olilelievre @severs_jeanette @humans_of_ag Give things a go. Respect your boss even if the job isn’t for you long term. Your early employers are your referees for later opportunities, and if things go well, may even become your mentors. Ag is full of good people looking to give you a hand up. Just ask.

Chatting with Year 10 students at one of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs schools next week. A question which is embedded in @humans_of_ag podcast: “what’s your advice to Yr10 students for those few years out of school & why could a career in Ag be a good option?” What’s yours?
