Agreed. In just 7 hours, 192,000 posts were published about the Cardinal. Do you want to know many posts covered Iranian missile shrapnel hitting the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on March 16? I just ran the numbers using social listening tools. The answer is around 9,100

The decision by Israeli police to bar Jerusalem’s Latin Patriarch from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on Palm Sunday constitutes a violation of religious freedom and long-standing protections governing holy sites.
Freedom of worship in Jerusalem must be fully guaranteed, without exception, for all faiths.
Jerusalem’s multi-religious character must be protected.

En tweet om att Israel dödade tre libanesiska journalister fick en del aktivister och journalisthatare att gå i taket.
Min tweet består av saklig information. Tre libanesiska journalister som är medlemmar i Journalistförbundet i Libanon dödades i ett flyganfall. Israel ligger bakom attacken.
Ändå valde aktivistiska journalisthatare och enstaka bleka komiker att använda min plattform på X för att påverka min oberoende och objektiva rapportering från krig .
Jag är inte särskilt överraskad.
I det nya Sverige - präglat av en mer trumpistisk kultur och misslyckade försök till att skapa en anda av ”McCarthyism” talas det allt oftare öppet om hat mot medier, till exempel, SVT.
Min sakliga tweet innehåller exakt samma uppgifter som världsledande medier rapporterar .

Denmark's representative for Eurovision 2026, Søren Torpegaard Lund, shared a photo of a laptop (which may belong to him or an Israeli friend of his) on his story - with two stickers on it that allegedly indicate support for Israel: "Fuck Hamas" and "Am Yisrael Fucking Chai".
Even if it turns out that the computer does not belong to him - we should note that the Danish representative was recently interviewed by the Israeli Eurovision website Euromix and even praised the Israeli song there.

The Middle East Forum analyzed 1,378 news articles covering the war and found... 98% cited Gaza Ministry of Health figures. Only 5% mentioned Israeli casualty figures for combatants killed. The New York Times cited militant casualty numbers in 0% of its articles analyzed. CNN and the Guardian managed 1%. Only 15% of all articles even noted that Hamas doesn't distinguish combatants from civilians in its data.
HonestReporting found that over a four-month period (February-May 2024), 84% of major English-language publications failed to make the combatant-civilian distinction in their total casualty numbers. The effect is that every figure gets absorbed by the audience as a civilian death count.
The framing compounds the numbers problem. Journalists routinely cited aggregate totals as purely civilian. CNN's Fareed Zakaria referenced "35,000 civilians dying." CBS's Major Harrison Mann asked, "I don't know how you kill 35,000 civilians by accident." The UN itself produced videos titled "25,000 Civilians Killed" without distinguishing combatants.
Meanwhile, asymmetric source scrutiny was the norm. Hamas figures were questioned in roughly 1% of articles. IDF data was challenged in 50% of the limited cases where Israeli sources were cited at all. Nearly 20% of articles cited GHM numbers without even attributing them to Hamas.

Varför går @kassemhamade, utrikesreporter på Expressen, ut och försvarar Hizbollahs propagandakanal Al-Manar? Hizbollah är terrorstämplat av både Sverige och EU. Al-Mayadeen, som Hamadé också talar sig varm för, är välkänt för sin proiranska, pro-Assad-vänliga och pro-Hizbollah-lutande linje.
När Expressens korrespondenter blir aktivister och försvarar sådana aktörer är det inte konstigt att tidningens Mellanösternbevakning uppfattas som snedvriden @OlssonKarin.

In contrast, Israel targets Iranian military infrastructure and weapons facilities, alongside repression apparatus in Tehran like the Basij.
