Out in @AnimalEcology, we investigate the influence of masting on timing of reproduction in small mammals using a 12-year dataset. Seed availability alters probability of reproduction for both sexes and can change timing of reproduction by over 2 months! besjournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/13…

New Paper - @DavidRHeit's 2nd MS chapter is out! A review + mammal & bird case studies exploring nonlinearity in GLMs GLMs are "nonlinear" on the natural scale yet entail a linearity assumption, which can be confusing Read more (open access): onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10…

New paper! Taylor Readyhough & @ARButler89 led a review of 70,000 U.S. mammal studies over the last 100 years to assess publication trends Key results in figure. Conservation status surprisingly unimportant. We ID taxa that need more work (weasels!) onlinelibrary.wiley.com/share/author/U…

Interested in estimating species distributions and expected abundances across large areas? Limited by how much parameter space can be sampled? Have you thought about integrating presence-only data? Our new paper in @JAppliedEcology does just this: shorturl.at/rGPW1

Rodenticides are increasingly related to fisher deaths in New England. Could they be responsible for declining fisher populations in New Hampshire? @UofNH hubs.li/Q02mwrRW0
