Andy Warhol meets Eugene Wigner it is one of our first creations and we are very proud about it!!! This algorithmic painting in motion shows the natural time evolution of four randomly generated quantum states. The states are superpositions of number states (e.g., numbers of photons), which evolve in time under the effect of the same energy (Hamiltonian). The quantum states are visualized using the Wigner quasi-probability distribution, introduced by Eugene Wigner in 1932 to study quantum corrections to classical statistical mechanics. Warhol created numerous Monroe pop artworks, starting from a single image. Now they are considered among the world’s most influential pieces of Modern art. Warhol refers to a society in which people can be seen as a product rather than a person. This algorithmic painting in motion represents the survival of the uniqueness of individuals and of their creative drive which fight against mass production and conformism.
