Students loved working rhythm stations this week!

It's corn! You either love it or you don't 🤣

Dorsey's 4th grade made my week with our African drumming lesson!

Kindergarten learning about the 4 voices.... Most important being SING, of course☺️

5th grade in the planning stage of their deposition chant notation EDP.

Life goals: always land on your feet... err beat 1! 3rd did a great job feeling the meter with tennis balls while listening to a changing meter medley.

4th grade challenge: keep the ostinato steady on rhythm sticks, while taking turns improvising on a drum. Watch the final drummer take risks and make an awesome rhythm pattern! 🎶

4th grade had fun learning a rhythm stick line dance after creating ostinato patterns.

Nothing brings me more joy than a genuine smile from these great students. Loved playing meter tag this week!

Say it, clap it, play it! 3rd graders worked hard on creating, reading, and playing body percussion rhythms.

2nd graders performed percussive rhythms in triple meter to "The Blue Danube" by Strauss.

Love bringing out the rhythm in these 5th graders♥️

Loved starting my morning with 4th grade today! This class did a great job working in small groups to compose and practice rhythms on percussion instruments.
