Crews have finished ignitions on the #RogersLakeRx, SW of Flagstaff. 160 ac. of State Trust & private lands treated. The goal of the project work was to reduce heavy fuel, incl. dead/downed trees to restore forest health & reduce threat of catastrophic fire. Arizona Forestry planning multiple prescribed fire projects over fall & winter months to reduce the risk of catastrophic fire & provide for healthier forests.
