@DerbyshireRPU The signage clearly states 7.5 ton except for access. Also the blue information sign states not suitable for hgv 1 mile ahead. He might of had legitimate access. Not suitable doesn't mean not allowed! Perhaps the highway authority needs to change the ambiguous signage.

M1 - Intel led stop on a vehicle today with the assistance of @DerbyshireARU and @DerbysDogPolice. Eventually stopped using pre-emptive tactics at junction 21. A boot full of booty leads the driver to be housed at a local custody suite. Can’t wait to hear the excuse!

@curricadvocate This comes with background knowledge - it was my previous industry prior to Outdoor Ed. The square version, the emphasis is on SME which is a well known acronym. Square (ish) is not a universally friendly shape, especially when you come to social media. The second one wins for me

Running a vehicle check site in @LichfieldPolice this morning when this one was escorted in initially for very dark tinted windows! Turns out to be a STOLEN car on false plates with a drug driving male behind the wheel. The simple stops bring out the big prizes - one in custody!

It doesnt take much to overload a 3.5t van with produce. This one was stopped due to the driver using his phone, Not wearing a seat belt, over weight by 17.5 %, No Mot and a bald tyre. An expensive day for this driver. Reported and vehicle prohibited from moving. @PoliceStafford
