Great progress from the Bone and Joint Infection Registry! Hopefully we can get all UK hospitals reporting data so we can learn the best treatments. @UK_PJI

With 33 NHS Trusts (~20%) now signed up to @BAJIR_UK and more than 500 confirmed infections entered we are delighted to see ongoing growth in our Registry. The more data we gather the more questions we can address #PJI #orthopaedicinfection Thanks to all who are participating

Agnes Hunt was recognised as the 1st orthopaedic nurse. In 1901, she sought treatment for osteomyelitis of her hip from Liverpool’s Robert Jones. Together they established a hospital which we now know as The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital @theRCN @LivHospitals
