Experimenting with cardboard marble runs. Saw idea on @instructables & wanted to try with cardboard & toothpicks. Works well. Using 4 layers of cardboard & half size toothpicks. Used nails to poke holes but drill will work better. Will have try it with the Ss. #hawksmakerspace

@karyngraynz Agree! The overwhelming feeling at the moment is that it seems to be a production line of teachers with the focus on past research and not looking ahead. Akonga needs and passions don’t seem to be at the forefront of ITE.

It has got to stop being a vicious circle of we are preparing them for what current schools want rather than for what we know the future needs. And schools have to move and stop demanding the ways and hows they were previously trained too. Or we will not get off this circle!
