After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.

So Thames Water is currently £20 billion in debt and turning that mess into a company that is £26.5 billion in debt we are being told, and are expected to believe, is rescuing it.

@RichardStWolf @SophieP25397 That crisis was caused by the economic policies of the Tory chancellor Anthony Barber in 1972-73 - with his 'dash for growth'. Caused huge inflation and a sterling crisis, compounded by the Opec oil crisis following the Yom Kippur war of 73

Six months later, SWFC decided to partition that terrace into smaller pens, with radial fences running from the rear to the front. Deadly error

I paid my respects at the Hillsborough Memorial today. I often say to people that football in the 80’s was mainly young lads going to the games with their mates. I was 26 at the time and we were playing Wimbledon away. Look at the ages, many were teenagers with their mates. RIP.
