@RickySacks @LastWordOnSpurs @SimonJones_DM Agreed. You’d think by this stage they would have a good understanding of whether or not he really wants to join.

🚨🚨𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍! | Sandro Tonali is 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 to joining Tottenham Hotspur, with the chance to work under Roberto De Zerbi.
🔑However 𝗔𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗔𝗟 is Tonali’s 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘, should they firm up their interest.

@UKMemes2026 My nan had one and it was called a poof. No idea what it had done to deserve that!

It’s a moot point. Allegiant stadium was built for the best needs of the NFL fan experience, not a one time FIFA requirement.
A better question is should we have paid more for Allegiant and made the NFL experience worse for a few World Cup games that won’t come back to the US in 30 years.
The answer is NO

This is beyond the pale even for U.S. sporting venue pricing…

We hope everyone has arrived safely in Dallas/North Texas, if not yet, safe travels!
Huge thanks to @FansEurope and @ISCSupporters for the help and advice in the build up to the game.
Following the Netherlands v Japan game in Dallas, they’ve provided us with some useful tips and experiences to help fans on the day.

🚞🚎As shared previously, fans looking to use public transport to the ground will travel by train from Victory Station (Dallas) or Central Station (Fort Worth) to CentrePort Station. Tickets can be purchased for the train via the GoPass app, regional day pass tickets can be bought for $9.
When you arrive at CentrePort Station, a free shuttle bus will be waiting for you to take you to Arlington and will drop you around 10-15 mins from the Dallas Stadium. The buses start 5 hours before KO and run until 3 hours after.
The reports of this were that it worked really well, there were hydration stations on the way to the stadium handing out free drinks, and afterwards the buses were waiting to take fans straight back to CentrePort Station for your trains back to Dallas or Fort Worth.
🚕Taxis faced surge pricing to the stadium, so these are likely to be expensive both before and after.
🚙Parking in Arlington is possible in some areas but not much, the official parking must be booked through FIFA’s website, and it costs a fortune. Traffic was very busy. Parking lots open 4 hours prior to KO.

Flags are allowed in without pre-approval as long as no bigger than 2x1.5m. Anything bigger, you have to apply for approval ASAP, there is a 48-hour deadline.
If you haven’t received your ticket from the FA before the 48-hour deadline, fans have reported being able to put details about this being TBC, ticket due from FA fanmaterials.fifa.org/fmsp?id=fm_cat…
We’re told that stewards were not allowing flags to be hung over the LED boards or the World Cup 2026 banner behind the goal. We will raise this with the FA and see if we can get this relaxed.

There is bag storage at the stadium for a cost of $25. They are selling clear bags for $20.
Any clear bag you have must be 12” x 6” x 12”, any non-clear bag must be no bigger than 4.5” x 6.5”, it was mixed reviews from the Netherlands v Japan game as to how strict they were on size.
We were told the process getting into the ground was smooth, let’s hope for the same again.

Before the game, you can buy a ticket for the very popular Texas Live! on their website, this is near the ground. There was also the possibility to pay on the door at the last game. This is around $26.
We were told however that there was a free entry option to stay outside, don’t bank on this but hopefully the same again.
At security, they were taking some caps off bottles of water, despite then selling it with caps just inside, again we have raised this. Food and drink is naturally expensive inside the stadium, $17 for a beer, $9 for water. But plenty of free water available at fountains throughout the ground.
The cups, as per previous tournaments, are branded with the specific fixture on them.
💧𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Now the serious bit. It’s bloody hot. There have been plenty of heat related medical incidents already at this tournament. Please stay hydrated, find the shade/air-con where you can. Keep a water with you. If there are heavy queues, this could become an issue and the heat can hit us in an instant.
ℹ️𝐅𝐚𝐧𝐬’ 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐲
On matchday, we’ll be located at the eSports Arena near the ground. Edition 200 of the Free Lions is available to collect which includes some useful info looking ahead to Boston.
On Tuesday, we’ll be at the City Tavern pub in downtown Dallas.

@fusionjosh_ Drink a lot…it’s the main purpose of watching baseball.

@Benno1uk It’s hard with the time difference, but World Cups aren’t always built around a UK tv audience. I’m out in the US at the moment and it’s been brilliant so far.
