Savarkar was hailed by many, including Bhagat Singh for his early revolutionary phase. It was later phase of his life, when his politics changes, writes a tract on Hindutva, which Bhagat Singh didn't come across as there is no mention in any of his writings. So Bhagat Singh can't be used to endorse the communal politics and connivance of Savarkar with the British. They are incomparable.
