To me, it just proves Aang is as useless as Roku when it comes to the Fire Lord — they both hesitate and look for loopholes to avoid doing what's necessary.

I remember Aang fans saying only Yangchen's advice mattered because only a fellow Air Nomad could truly understand him. But Kyoshi is half-Air Nomad herself. Even though she doesn't follow the philosophy, her advice was basically the same as Yangchen's.
