@SnipersEdge69 @iamAtheistGirl This is actually excellent advice. As long as funds allow it, taking care of two cats is *easier* than taking care of one! They'll handle play time and snuggles just fine on their own when their human isn't around. :)

@iamAtheistGirl Get him a brother or sister. We were getting a dog and wife asked if we could have two. Don't ask me that, I will take a houseful of any animal. They can fight but sleep side by side. They are sisters from the same litter.

@Alaknar @Number10cat Yes, you indeed don't know. The number of UN members never attacked by any member of NATO is actually smaller than the number of NATO members. Blaming the UN is ignoring the huge pile of neocolonial corpses and rivers of blood.

The Denmark detail is the one that should stop people cold. NATO allies had to genuinely war-game shooting down American planes. Some of their military leaders still haven't fully processed having run that exercise. The most popular app in the country identified American products to avoid buying. And now Trump is demanding - his word - those same allies solve the Strait of Hormuz problem his war created. NATO invoked Article 5 once. For us. Their soldiers died in Afghanistan. He told reporters they stayed "a little back." Their governments remember that. They've drawn the conclusions and they aren't reversible.

Trump has insulted and tariffed his European allies, persuaded Denmark to prepare for a US invasion and, by pressuring Ukraine and not Russia, encouraged Putin to keep fighting. All of which he has forgotten. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/03/…

I'm sure if these movies are made today, you would definitely see idiots like the critical drinker make these types of comments if not these exact comments about the women in those movies On Sarah Connor (Terminator 2): "T2 is Patient Zero for the woke mind virus. They turned a perfectly fine damsel from the first movie into this insufferable girlboss who beats up male orderlies and treats everyone around her like garbage. Peak misandry." "Notice how they emasculate every male character to make Sarah look better? The Terminator is literally cucked into being her obedient robot dog, while she struts around acting like the alpha. It's just feminist propaganda trying to destroy traditional gender dynamics." "Sarah Connor is basically the original DEI hire of the Resistance. John Connor is supposed to be the literal savior of humanity, but they constantly sideline the male lead just to push 'the message' and make his mom the real hero. Forced diversity at its finest." "They gave her this absurdly hyper-masculine physique to push a radical feminist agenda. Real women do not look or act like that. It's pure copium from Hollywood trying to pretend a 130lb woman can realistically out-muscle trained SWAT teams." "The whole movie is ruined by her preachy, woke monologues. She literally stands there holding a gun and lectures men about how they 'don't know what it's like to create life.' So heavy-handed and anti-male. Get woke, go broke." On Ellen Ripley (Alien / Aliens): "Ripley surviving the Nostromo over all the capable male crew members was pure DEI plotting. Now in the sequel, they double down and make her the ultimate girlboss who has to step in and save a bunch of incompetent, beta-male Colonial Marines? Give me a break." "The mech-suit fight with the Queen Alien is just heavy-handed feminist symbolism. It's literally a 'mother vs. mother' catfight designed to completely erase male heroism from the sci-fi genre. Pure pandering to modern audiences." "Notice the agenda here? The only competent people in the movie are a woman and a little girl, while the corporate guy is evil and the highly trained male marines immediately panic and fall apart. It’s completely woke, anti-male writing masking as a monster movie." "Ripley exudes toxic femininity. She’s abrasive, constantly challenges the actual alpha males in the room, and somehow the script still rewards her for it by making her right every single time. A total self-insert fantasy for angry feminists." "No biological woman is casually strapping a pulse rifle to a flamethrower and successfully hunting down a Xenomorph hive by herself. They completely broke the established lore to push 'the message.' It's not stunning or brave, it's just lazy woke writing trying to humiliate men."
Matt Jarbo@mjarbo

If Sarah Connor and Ellen Ripley were characters in movies today, they would absolutely be attacked for being woke and DEI

Next stop: lunar flyby. The Orion spacecraft recently ignited its main engine on the service module for about six minutes to provide about 6,000 pounds of thrust. This maneuver sets the Artemis II astronauts on the path to the Moon.

“A former Fox News weekend host just fired a four-star general with combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, replaced him with his own former assistant, and did it during a live war in which the next decision could put American soldiers on Iranian soil for the first time in history. No hearing was held. No misconduct cited. The Army woke up on April 3 with a new chief it did not choose, in a war it did not start, preparing for a phase the previous chief apparently could not be trusted to execute.”
Shanaka Anslem Perera ⚡@shanaka86

JUST IN: You do not fire your Army Chief of Staff in the middle of a war for no reason. You fire him because of what comes next. Pete Hegseth called General Randy George on April 2 and told him to retire immediately. The Pentagon confirmed it within hours. No reason was given. Not publicly. Not privately. A senior Army official told Fox News that Hegseth offered George nothing: no misconduct, no operational failure, no policy disagreement on the record. Just a phone call and a career ending in the middle of the most significant American combat operation in two decades. George is the 24th general or admiral Hegseth has removed. But he is not the 24th. He is the one that matters. The Army Chief of Staff. The man whose signature sits between a president’s intent and the order that sends soldiers across a beach or into a tunnel complex. The 82nd Airborne is deploying right now. Marines from the 31st MEU are staged on the USS Tripoli. JSOC operators are at forward bases in Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Kharg Island, 90 percent of Iranian oil exports, sits 16 kilometres off a coast that someone will have to decide whether to approach. And the four-star general whose job it was to advise whether that approach should happen was removed 48 hours after Trump told the nation the war would continue for two to three more weeks. The replacement is Vice Chief General Christopher LaNeve. He was Hegseth’s senior military aide before this appointment. The man who carried the Secretary’s briefcase now commands the Army the Secretary is reshaping. The chain of command did not break. It shortened. The distance between a television studio and a combat order just collapsed to zero intermediaries who were not personally selected by the man giving the order. No reason was given. That is the tell. When someone is removed without explanation during a crisis, the explanation is the crisis itself. George either objected to something or was about to. The ground option. The power plant strikes. The Kharg raid. The escalation that turned a highway bridge in Karaj into rubble on the same day he was told to leave. Something in the next two weeks requires a chief who will not push back, and the Pentagon solved that problem by installing one trained as Hegseth’s aide. A former Fox News weekend host just fired a four-star general with combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, replaced him with his own former assistant, and did it during a live war in which the next decision could put American soldiers on Iranian soil for the first time in history. No hearing was held. No misconduct cited. The Army woke up on April 3 with a new chief it did not choose, in a war it did not start, preparing for a phase the previous chief apparently could not be trusted to execute. The question is not why George was fired. Every general in the building knows why. The question is what order is coming in the next fourteen days that required removing the one man in the chain of command who might have said no. The war has no perimeter. The chain of command has no objectors. And the next phase has no one left to stop it. open.substack.com/pub/shanakaans…
