Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced on Thursday that he is cutting off all communication with the European Union's foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas. The decision follows reports of comments she allegedly made during private, high-level discussions in Mexico City last month, where she compared "Israel's" treatment of Palestinians to South Africa’s apartheid regime. An absolute majority of Kosovo voters rejected Vjosa Osmani in Sunday's ballot. Her campaign was directed toward securing another term as president after she had hoped to win election with the LDK.
