@NYSLabor What can we do if we accidentally stoped and reapplied even tho we were receiving PUA? Please help!

Unsure whether you are receiving UI or PUA? Here are a few ways to check: 1️⃣. After you filed your claim, you should have received a Notice of Determination of Eligibility that says you were found eligible for PUA or UI.

Reminder: New Yorkers who are receiving PUA benefits do NOT need to reapply when they reach the end of their initial benefit year. Instead, PUA claimants should continue to certify weekly while unemployed to get the benefits they are eligible for.

@SassyRamoutar @NYSLabor UI for covid related unemployment. You can test at them and they will put you on a list to cal but I have yet to be called in 2 months. Still says pending.

@AlecNevin @NYSLabor I had this problem as well. Send them a private message on Twitter and enter the info it asks for. I was able to get a call back in less than 2 weeks. I still haven’t received my back pay but I’m getting my weekly payments without any issues so far. Hope this helps you out.
