Today it seems we are back to antisemitism and why Jews are somehow both: “Too rich” and “too poor.” “Control the banks” and “live off welfare.” “Secretly run the world” and “are powerless victims.” “Are disloyal outsiders” and “have too much influence in government.” “Never assimilate” and “have infiltrated every part of society.” “Are capitalist exploiters” and “are communist revolutionaries.” “Are weak and cowardly” and “are a dangerous global threat.” “Keep to themselves” and “control everyone else.” Oh well. 😔

As New York City celebrated a Knicks championship last night, the men and women of the NYPD were working across all five boroughs to keep people safe. That included dealing with a relatively small number of people who used celebration as an “excuse” to turn to violence. Many cops worked long, grueling tours. Many came in on their days off. And many went straight from a long night into the Puerto Rican Day Parade and FIFA watch parties this morning. To every cop who put themselves at risk to ensure others could celebrate safely: thank you for your noble service. This city is grateful.

I lived in Ocean Township in the 90s and the whole cul de sac I lived in was Jewish, as was much of the neighborhood. Ocean is next to Deal and a huge Jewish day school with 100s of kids has been there for like 50 years. Maybe this dude is the invasive species.
