Paul Dano didn't have to act terrified in the finale of There Will Be Blood (2007). Daniel Day-Lewis was hurling real bowling balls at him with full force. Dano admitted he genuinely feared for his safety as the heavy props bounced around him.

@benjianity @BestMovieMom And if there *had* been harm, he would've suffered for it; both socially AND monetarily. Both actors and possibly crew members. I'm right to call this out and NO ONE'S fame or ability should stop us from telling the truth. Method has its limits. This line shouldn't be crossed.

@RealEmirHan Peak cinema. Notice the calm with which Ben Whishaw performs. The clarity. The natural and spontaneous conversation. Hallmarks of a professional.

SKYFALL (2012) did a radical change when casting Ben Whishaw. It was a decades-long tradition to cast Q as an older figure in the James Bond series. In this movie they changed the formula and Whishaw simply became the first Q ever to be younger than Bond.

@RealEmirHan @RealEmirHan Doesn't that sound rather forced to you? I think Wachowski is appropriating his past work to his current cause. - I reject it because it's not honest and has no integrity. Wachowski is a fake presenting as trans in order to garner interest, views and acceptance.

The Matrix is a trans allegory, according to director Lilly Wachowski, who said, “The world wasn’t ready. Everything in it is super trans,” pointing to Neo’s transformation from being Mr. Anderson. Keanu Reeves responded, “I didn’t know that. I think it’s cool.”

The Last of Us Director Peter Hoar on how he tricked audiences into watching gay propaganda: "Sometimes you have to sort of trick the rest of the world into watching these things before they're like, 'Oh, my God, it was two guys. I just realized.' I think then they might understand that it's all real. It's just the same love." Do you think he knows what love actually is?

@AnActorExplains @SirBylHolte its not really competing, Rosewood was on a decade ago. They just have strikingly similar themes, and Chestnut seems to have been stereotyped

BREAKING: Black Snape In, Black Watson Out! CBS just cancelled the hilariously-woke RACE-SWAPPED Sherlock Holmes spinoff "Watson" after only 2 seasons. In case you missed it, "Watson" was one of the dumbest and most insulting Sherlock Holmes retoolings yet. It’s set in modern-day Pittsburgh. Dr. John Watson is now a genius BLACK doctor suffering from traumatic brain injury. Holmes dead (of course), and Watson solves medical mysteries at the clinic Holmes left him in his will. The clinic is run by his bitchy ex-wife, who constantly scolds him with lines like “YOU DO NOT DO THAT IN MY CLINIC.” His ex-wife now has a "FEMALE ROOMATE." The staff includes two female “ologists” who constantly need affirmation as “the smartest doctor in their field.” And yes — Moriarty is alive and reimagined as Korean-American. The series obviously saw low numbers, so season two added Robert Carlyle as the "SURPRISE, I'M NOT DEAD" Holmes but, too little too late. Is it any surprise The Ellisons axed this thing right after "Starfleet Academy"?

@aakashgupta Well explained sir. It's inhuman. Large-scale open auditions are known as cattle calls for a reason; we're treated like produce! - The machine is whirling out of control, and the humanity we had in the 80's and even 90's is all but evaporating, replaced by corporate desperation.

The audition math on this casting is absurd. HBO reviewed over 32,000 children for three roles. 500 to 1,000 audition tapes per day. The search took months. For the lead trio alone, the hit rate was 0.009%. Lox Pratt is 14. He just signed a contract that will define his entire career through age 24. Seven seasons. One role. A decade of his life locked to a single character during every year that matters for a young actor's development. Tom Felton was 13 when he first played Draco. He's now 38, still primarily known for the role, and just announced he's playing adult Draco on Broadway. The character followed him for 25 years. He gave Pratt his phone number and told him "there's quite a lot of weight now." That's the part people miss about franchise casting at this scale. The role doesn't end when filming wraps. Daniel Radcliffe spent a decade on Broadway actively trying to build an identity beyond Harry Potter. Emma Watson stepped away from acting almost entirely. Rupert Grint disappeared for years. Pratt's other confirmed role is Jack in BBC's Lord of the Flies. After this, every casting director on Earth will see Draco first. The $1.3 billion mini city HBO built for this show will be his workplace from adolescence to adulthood. Hans Zimmer is scoring his Tuesday afternoons. The career upside is generational wealth and permanent name recognition. The career risk is becoming so synonymous with one character that the industry can't see anything else. Felton handing over his phone number tells you everything about what this role costs.

@fandompulse When a man is willing to divorce himself from sense, reason, honesty and independent thought, he ceases to be mature or responsible. We have an obligation to ourselves and others to tell the truth and consider it carefully. Throwing that to the wind means abandoning principles.

Brandon Sanderson on what makes a successful film or TV adaptation: "What makes a good adaptation? It is keeping to the soul of the story and not throwing anything away from the original without good reason. But that good reason can be it's a new medium. You just have to do it differently." Do you agree with him?

@TeamNeither @SirBylHolte This is not uncommon! The studios will compete over a theme. That's how Airwolf gained superiority over two other helicopter shows in 1984: Blue Thunder on ABC and Riptide on NBC.

@SirBylHolte Hahaha! Yes... This show was so incredibly toxic, I couldn't review it. I couldn't wade thru the vile hate & lecturing enough to stay afloat! Thank you @SirBylHolte for the bravery and sloshing thru it. I'm also working my way thru the Burbs to review it.

@Thunderbird___5 @fandompulse @Thunderbird___5 nothing racist about it. (and this is the response the industry wants you to utter, so as to diminish & silence criticism) Each of the above points are directly from Rowling's stories. Each plot point is being appropriated for Woke activism. Politics over Art.
