As GOLD drops 1000$ take a look and see DJI/GOLD for example.
1/ This 1000$ drop managed to raise ratio from 8.90 to 9.90
2/ Path is still 5.72
3/ There'll be ~40-50% correction of stocks to GOLD.
4/ Considering 4700$ GOLD prices today * 5.72 (2011 DJI/GOLD ratio support) = 26884 for DJI -> that's almost 50% drop from over 50000 peak.

@AlastorWyst What will be a logic later it's a different story, I bet with a new wave of liquidity less and less money will be going to stocks and more and more to gold what will finally drop this ratio to 0.5, so 1932-1980 trend and that'll be a bottom.

Higher energy prices will not create inflation as inflation is a monetary phenomenon. What high energy prices are acting as is a de facto interest rate hike. This will lead into a recession or worse. Central banks and treasuries will react in their usual Keynesian fashion.

$SPY and another key moment ... again 10y/3m jumped > +60bps
For those who don't remember. If 10y/3m jumps > +60bps permanently after inversion the market has never survived. I just place so far even short spikes > +60bps on the chart just for my own curiosity...

$SPY let's check ... It's still a fight but nooooo. (As I bet some time ago this 697$ will be a top, I bet also now : we won't break this ~690 level again to the upside) Time'll tell. I spent couple years trying to figure out how to adjust cycle indicators like SPX/GOLD DJI/GOLD to stocks and after couple years around 3Q25 I came to conclusion there's no better indicator for stocks than US03MY crossing down (M)MA50 for topping the stock market and that's what we test right now.
