@ndhawk88 @MissJilianne @elonmusk @Tesla Wow... Yeah I think I see what you're getting at I appreciate your help. I got two Tesla's. I drive a model 3 and don't use FSD but my brother (in 2022 model S plaid) uses FSD. So I guess I better tell him to be extra cautious in bad weather (rain, fog etc) right?

The reason Tesla’s Full Self-Driving can go thousands of miles between reported accidents is because the human supervisor intervenes when the system makes critical errors.

@IanSamyth @Elvisoncoke @MissJilianne And I bet the deductible is a joke right? If you had say FSD on and get into an accident (Heavens forbid) and repairs cost $10,000 dollars, the deductible is probably like $9,000 or some shit right? So you are barely covered. If you total the car, then it's a complete loss 2 U

@Elvisoncoke @MissJilianne No it's not. FSD, if properly insured, would be covered w/o a deductible by Tesla. As it stands, the human driver pays deductible and the loss in value of the car due to the accident.

@IanSamyth @Elvisoncoke @MissJilianne I found this fascinating Says a lot about the current state of confidence (or lack thereof) for FSD unsupervised Cleary if accidents caused while FSD is engaged is NOT covered by Tesla insurance, then their posture is that you should not rely on FSD and we don't cover it

@Elvisoncoke @MissJilianne You’re confused. Providing Insurnace for regular teslas is not the same as insuring the car while FSD is active. To reiterate, Tesla believing in FSD means they would automatically take all blame and cover insurance claims if and whenever FSD is active. They do not.

@Novatecho @MissJilianne True That's a great way to put it and indeed Y is likely a large number and increasing. Where it matters for Cybercabs is we need Y to be significantly higher than a human driver And we also need Tesla to report on Y at least once a month don't you think? For Robotaxi approval

@MissJilianne This would be valid if there were X interventions per Y miles metrics and 'Y' is a small number. But we have people who have literally driven across the country with zero interventions. 'Y' is a large number.

@MissJilianne No. It’s because the system doesn’t make critical errors. I have a 2026 Tesla Model Y with FSD. It has over 3,500 miles, ~3,000 with FSD engaged, and has not required a single safety critical disengagement by me or my partner. This is the typical experience of FSD users.

@pjsercel @MissJilianne That's definitely nice to hear But does this mean that people need to buy a 2026 model Y with the latest camera hardware like yours, to get such results?

@ndhawk88 @MissJilianne But then what happens to the whole Cybercab dream? How can you have a Cybercab system giving rides to people if a human being is required behind the wheel, to prevent people from dying due to "Edge" cases? @elonmusk @Tesla

@MissJilianne So are those critical ones you're noticing, happening at high or low speeds And how dangerous are such edge cases? That's what this whole Cybercab concern is hinging on

@MissJilianne How can FSD be safer than a human if the human is driving?

Here we go. Once Netanyahu has ordered in ground troops, then it's a guarantee. American politicians are not allowed to disagree. Watch. You'll see Trump will follow his orders like a dog. Then they'll pretend landing troops on Iranian islands doesn't count. Propaganda incoming.
Furkan Gözükara@FurkanGozukara

BOMBSHELL! Netanyahu just casually admitted on live TV that there will be a GROUND INVASION of Iran. The air strikes were just the beginning of a massive, devastating regional war.

Not only Tehran. The U.S. military and IDF have intensified the battle to take control of the Strait of Hormuz, sending low-flying attack jets over the sea lanes to blast Iranian naval vessels and Apache helicopters to shoot down Iran’s deadly drones, according to American military officials.

@GuntherEagleman @PattyMurray Yeah that was a pretty stupid assumption Democrats pretty much wanted to fast track illegals to easily become citizens (importing illegals) which was their stated plan to turn swing states Democratic and thereby make us a one party state forever (like CA on steroids) @elonmusk

@GuntherEagleman Yeah pretty much only Citizens (especially for state and federal elections) Many people consider themselves Americans (and for all intents and purposes they may damn well be great Americans)..But Amendments 15th, 19th, 24th and 26th all refer to citizenship as key requirement

@GuntherEagleman @nickshirleyy Any person who immigrates to the United States of America (like I did from Iran decades ago) and then starts to shit talk about our ways as westerners or threaten, should get deported because they are clearly miserable I say this not cuz I'm Religious but as matter of principle

🚨 SAVAGE: @nickshirleyy just sent a FIRE message straight to President Trump on crushing fraud, no mercy! “Arrest these fraudsters and deport them. If they’re a naturalized citizen, denaturalize them and send them back to their country. American taxpayers work too hard for their tax dollars to go foreigners robbing this nation blind.” @bennyjohnson
