This changes nothing. He doesn't mean diocesan priests or diocesan Latin Mass communities. He just means the former ED communities/religious orders and that much, Pope Francis assured as well. We just got a big fat nothingburger and everyone is like WOW SOUNDS YUMMY!!! 😵‍💫

@HilarityjaneArt Got married in the faith and stayed that way, had a big family, mom stayed home, they passed down the faith whole and complete, shunned the Novus Ordo? There are maybe like twenty of these magical boomers anywhere in the world. I certainly haven't met one myself.

@GGLamers The Cardinal is a likeable man who tries hard to foster religious belief. He is generous to traditionalists, and promotes active religious orders. But he doesn’t seem to subscribe to the concept of immutable truth

@PaulinusOfTrier

@StephenKokx This isn't true. There are ancient depictions (idols) found all over the Andes. However, when they do their worship circles, it's most likely just sticks, twigs, rocks etc that the pile up in a circle to worship. machutravelperu.com/blog/pachamama…

I get their point, but this is not exactly true. There have been carved depictions of the Pachamama found all over S. America. They do absolutely worship the earth directly, piling up rocks, sticks etc that they place in worship circles...but they also have depicted the Pachamama in carvings, paintings and pottery for hundreds of years if not longer.

While I appreciate Prejean Boller’s boldness in condemning Israeli aggression and astuteness in demonstrating that anti-Zionism ≠ anti-Semitism, this whole matter of calling out bishops and providing receipts is starting to get tiresome. It gives off Karen/longhouse vibes, and reminds me of why in the early Church, there was a probationary period required before converts could speak publicly about the Faith. We’re at the point where these long, online exchanges are uglier than her husband’s NFL highlights, which is saying something.

Your Eminence, I’ve tried calling you and texting you multiple times since the February 9th hearing on antisemitism which you and Bishop Barron were absent from. I wished to discuss this with you privately. But again, unfortunately, you’ve provided zero response to me. However, today, you publicly made the post which I am replying to now. You have publicly stated that you agree with Bishop Barron’s recently issued statements wholeheartedly. Please answer this question: Why did you say to me in person on September 8th 2025, at 8:26 in the morning, “if they are going to remove you for your support of the Palestinians in Gaza, then they will try to remove me too”? I explained to you at this meeting, that I was being asked to resign from the commission by the White House at the behest of our colleague’s Paula White and Dan Patrick. You expressed that you were shocked I was asked to resign in August because of my Catholic position on Zionism, and outspoken support of innocent human life in Gaza. You fully supported me as indicated by your words. I had expressed to both you and Bishop Barron months before the February hearing that I was asked to be removed from this commission due to my Catholic beliefs and my support of the Palestinians in Gaza. Both of you said that would never happen. But it did. Can you please explain to me and to all Catholics the meaning of this apparent contradiction? If there is no contradiction between what you said to me in August and why I’m presently removed, then please explain. I believe I was removed from the religious liberty commission in February for the same reasons I was asked to resign in August.

On March 25, God created Adam. On March 25, Abraham offered Isaac on Mt. Moriah. On March 25, Moses crossed the Red Sea. On March 25, the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would be the Mother of God. On March 25, Christ, the new Adam, died for our sins. O Blessed Day!

These are activists as you’re probably noting. Carrie Prejeans-Boller has only been a convert for roughly a year and her sounding board, Catholics for Catholics has only been in existence for ~3-4 years. The Catholic League, founded in 1973, called for Boller’s removal. They said: “She does not run a Catholic organization, has no Catholic credentials as an author or instructor, and indeed represents no one but herself. For her to say, without qualification, that ‘Catholics do not embrace Zionism’ is presumptuous and arrogant.” “It just wasn’t just this remark that got Prejean Boller into hot water. She blamed Jews for killing Christ, again without qualification, and was known to show up at meetings wearing a Palestinian flag pin. In other words, she is an activist, not someone sincerely committed to religious liberty.” She also publicly stated that the LAND of Israel is “meaningless” - which flies in the face of the very Bible she‘s using as a weapon and whereby she demanded the clergy back her. I’ll have to look into Martyr Made, thanks. catholicleague.org/muslim-woman-q…

🚨 Both Cardinal Dolan AND Bishop Barron have endorsed and written book blurbs for Fr James Martin, S.J. 🏳️‍🌈 Yet both bishops openly rebuke and dogpile onto a Catholic laywoman through a public forum like Twitter. This is effeminate behavior in both cases. Shame on them.
Cardinal Dolan@CardinalDolan

Below is a statement that my brother bishop, @BishopBarron – a colleague on the Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty –recently issued. His comments are characteristically clear, and I agree wholeheartedly.

Guys, I love you. I’m begging you to rip out of your life this absurd obsession that is destroying your prayer life. Ask yourself, what does all this nonsense matter? How is it getting you to heaven? Is it in the Baltimore Catechism? Let. It. Go.
