Here’s an example of an immigrants hArD wOrK that I personally know of, as I have met this person before. A friend of mine dated her for awhile. She is a massage therapist, that got certified in every massage therapy course possible yet never massages anyone. The grift is an insurance scam, she hires 2 people to make fake massage invoices to the customers insurance company and they split the payment with the “customer” 50/50. She was apparently massaging 16 people a day. She got investigated because they invoiced for a 6 month old baby for massages every day for 2 weeks which means a family will cash in on half of all their dependent benefits. The audit concluded that there was no fraud. She still does this, and is overseas on vacation most of the year while getting paid in this manner. It’s also apparently very prevalent as it happens at a lot of other places. My friend actually called fraud on her to the insurance company but they said they wouldn’t do anything about it, which is wild. Her biggest customer base? Employees at Amazon.
