@NestaOg Yea, I live nearby and heard 8-9 shots fast. Downloaded a police scanner and they said officer involved shooting. Sounded like they said 3 down, but I don’t know if I heard that part right.

@JD_Lagrange They quoted him as if he said it on his show, but I still can't find it. It's damn inflammatory if it isn't true, and if it is true, that's even more concerning. That's why I asked the question, did anyone else hear this?

@FourFleets @CaltransDist3 @CountyElDorado @nevadadot @CHPPlacerville @CHP_Truckee The big rigs get stuck going up hill a lot of the time when passenger vehicles can make it fine. Just makes a bigger headache and completely stops traffic while waiting for a big rig tow truck.

There is some light at the end of the tunnel today! We're making progress cleaning up Interstate 80 now that the snow has finally stopped falling. The highway remains closed but should reopen sometime this afternoon. Stay tuned. @CHP_Truckee @CHPAuburn

@CaltransDist3 is there any reason while 80 is still closed when the summit roads are fine? Those not from California drive in worse all the time during winter.

@AntBox6 @HunterStoneMSMF @Caucasuswar Considering the MRE’s I was issued and ate didn’t have an expiration dates on them but an inspection/date……….I’m not sure how you knew they were expired.

@aleroi @pmakela1 Assuming they’re afraid of their armor being junk or getting hit with AP rounds. Either way, my goodness their patrols and convoys have the worst spreading I’ve ever seen. Quick way to get everyone/everything destroyed. That’s day 1 tactics training.

@TopoleskiJames @HunterStoneMSMF @Caucasuswar Yea, it was more common for us to get expired MREs than non expired ones. Ours are definitely packaged better than Russian ones from what I’ve seen though. Nothing quite like getting a “veggie omelette” that was packaged 10 years prior though. YUM 😂

@TheHappyHibou @HunterStoneMSMF @Caucasuswar Not disagreeing there, but just saying I’ve been given plenty of expired MREs during my time in the US Marine Corps, so I don’t think this qualifies as evidence for that statement, then again, am talking about the USMC and we always get the worst stuff compared to other branches.

@HunterStoneMSMF @Caucasuswar Also want to reiterate, SLAVA UKRAINI, not shilling for Putin, just saying expired MREs aren’t really a big deal, at least for US troops. Russian MREs might not last as long, no idea there, but I’m assuming it’s a non issue as it was for us.

@HunterStoneMSMF @Caucasuswar From experience, usually 2-3 years expired, but not always. Never got “sick” from one being expired vs eating a normal MRE though.

Russia's plan clearly is to reach Kyiv as quickly as possible and force Zelensky to surrender, including Ukrainian forces across the country. If Russia can't take Kyiv quickly or if Zelensky refuses and resistance continues across Ukraine, Russia's costs and problems multiply.
