@A1an_M Khan already called for that so he could charge people £12.50 a day. When THAT failed he rebranded it ULEZ expansion. Now he's going for a 4th term and the ONLY way to beat him is to get 1.5 million votes+ @CityHallTories take note of that number he has 1 million+ votes secured

@ladyvaio If he had Autopay set up prior to driving into ULEZ & the system didn't work, that is TfL's fault. Try appealing again & tell them you (your son) is willing to go to court over it.

@AntiExtension my son had ulez set up automatically whilst working in London. For some reason it didn’t work, he was not aware. All of the bills were going to his old house which he had sold & now £60 fine is £580 pushing him into debt 🤬 disgusting!!

@UkPolitoons Been saying from day one; heavier EVs wear tyres & brakes quicker creating far more PM2.5 toxic particles. They are not the solution (to a problem that doesn't exist). The cost of running them, and their depreciation in value, are more reasons to avoid.

@OneHappyDougie @MatrixGlitch1 The government's legal limits for NO² levels is 40µg/m³. Should levels fall below that, the charge should not be applicable (see chart below from 2019, pre expansion), so ULEZ is therefore unlawful. As for air quality sensors; ha! That's another farcical sham entirely.

@MatrixGlitch1 @AntiExtension Is there a standardised "Air Quality" for all UK cities or does a figure get plucked from the air, is there a standardised placement of air quality sensors, a set distance away from a road & dependant on traffic volumes for example are they calibrated, How is it fairly measured?

@maurice_1960 @UkPolitoons @TonyDowson5 @TfL This is essentially what happened in court Wednesday; the judge took into account the impact of the financial costs of a 'guilty' verdict to TfL. That's mitigation. Mitigation is only submitted after a guilty verdict and before sentencing. The judge acted as the defence for TfL.
