He just lost his closest European ally.
He lost his dictator friends in Venezuela and Syria.
His allies in the Iranian theocracy are in tatters.
His stooges lost elections in Moldova & Romania. He lost the support of Armenia, and it’s only a matter of time before the Georgian people throw off their corrupt pro Putin regime.
He lost his effort to stop NATO expansion, pushing Finland & Sweden into the alliance.
He has lost over 1.3 million Russians to battlefield casualties.
And now he is losing his war against Ukraine, falling back in many areas & controlling less Ukrainian territory than he did 4 years ago.

The entire TISZA community, along with millions of Hungarians who support us, is awaiting the close of polls this evening with optimism, confidence and calm. The turnout figures during the day clearly show what we have known all along.
Today is a historic moment that will go down in Hungary’s history books.
Claims that anyone is preparing violent actions or planning to occupy buildings after the polls close are the usual scaremongering and lies from Fidesz. Such attempts to sow division are likely coming from Russian advisers present in the country.
This kind of fake news is nothing more than the usual weak and desperate fearmongering and disinformation from Fidesz.

Being called “controversial” by journalists is one of the most meaningless and lazy efforts to delegitimise. “Controversial” means that there is strong public disagreement. It is a meaningless accusation unless we address how the current consensus was established. Did the consensus derive from open discussions, or are all facts and arguments that do not conform to government war narratives met with smears and censorship? Disagreeing with one's own government's war policies will always be “controversial,” as dissent will always be portrayed as treason; this is war propaganda 101. Do any politicians or journalists ever speak about the security concerns of rival states, or are such discussions necessary for peace smeared as “controversial”? If you disagree with your government's wars, do their stenographers in the media counter your arguments, or engage in personal attacks?

Trump isn't in charge of anything, he makes ZERO decisions, and no, he hasn't "lost his mind." This is messaging. The question you have to ask is messaging to who and why? When the US renamed the Department of Defense to the "Department of War," I warned of a concerted and ongoing effort to radicalize as many across the West into rabid, racist warmongers celebrating naked and entirely unapologetic imperial aggression as possible. The US is out of time to make excuses, sell justifications, and shape narratives - it is rushing to the finish line with war and proxy war against the pillars of multipolarism - Russia, Iran, and China. It needs to distill a core minority willing to irrationally fight and die in what are otherwise dangerous, unnecessary, unjustifiable wars of aggression - that is who these messages are for - and among this rabid, racist, warmongering minority - it resonates. They don't need to convince the majority - especially as long as the majority continues spending their paychecks on goods/services from Wall Street-listed corporations and otherwise allowing this to continue unopposed.

We must not allow pro-Ukraine agents to form a government here.
On April 12th, Hungarians must decide. Fidesz is the safe choice.

I could not agree with Glenn more.
You know what the first thing this incompetent puppet, @alexstubb, did when he took office? He signed a defense pact between Ukraine and Finland.
The thing with this is that our law states that any actions that purportedly endanger Finland (militarily) can be seen as high treason. After I heard about the pact, I contacted a constitutional law office to inquire whether it was high treason.
They replied that, if the pact led to a Russian attack on Finland, it would be difficult to see it as anything but high treason. I am rather certain that the same applies to allowing Ukrainian drones to attack Russia using our airspace.
