Wow. Can't wait to try this later today!
Xiaomi MiMo@XiaomiMiMo
MiMo TTS doesn't just talk — it sounds human. Sobbing. A sudden laugh. A cough. Heavy breathing. A nervous sigh. All woven naturally into speech. 🎧 2/n

@AriesTheCoder @cursor_ai Glass is a really nice interface and very efficient.
Composer 2 is also really great.
English

@HarryStuck77 @cursor_ai I'll be diving deeper into it later today when I'm done with a migration project I'm currently in the middle of.

opencode 1.3.0 will no longer autoload the claude max plugin
we did our best to convince anthropic to support developer choice but they sent lawyers
it's your right to access services however you wish but it is also their right to block whoever they want
we can't maintain an official plugin so it's been removed from github and marked deprecated on npm
appreciate our partners at openai, github and gitlab who are going the other direction and supporting developer freedom
English

@MingtaKaivo @thdxr I was disappointed that you didn't tell me what the real unlock was.
English

@thdxr the move was calling out OpenAI, GitHub, and GitLab by name. that's not just a clean exit — it's a distribution signal. toolchain loyalty is real and Anthropic just gave every OpenCode user a clear flag about who's building for developers vs who's lawyering up.

Don't get it twisted, Jensen changed @cursor_ai's trajectory by wearing this fire merch! 😄
Oh, and telling people to ignore the hype while using one of the hypiest moments in a landmark hype train event for the hypiest brand in Tech hype circles right now is wild and hilarious.
English

"Cursor is dead!! if you don't use Claude Code or Codex you're NGMI. if you use an IDE you're NGMI!!!"
this has been a somewhat popular sentiment recently on X and other social media
and it's funny because Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, just went on stage wearing a Cursor jacket.
~30,000 engineers at Nvidia use both Cursor and Codex.
remember to ignore all the hype online and stop chasing new shiny things, there's a reason why the biggest company in the world uses these AI coding tools

So much innovation happening at the same time. I'm having trouble just keeping up and I'm on this stuff DAILY! Not complainin'; just sayin'
I can straight away think of several use cases where this applies straight away. Thanks @vercel

Going to be using trying out the new rx json.

Thariq's CC Livestream on how they use `skills` in Claude Code. Check it out. Thanks @trq212.

Nah, I used both. I'm just talking about stats.
Claude has bs stats which I don't need.
> claude feels more 'lets think through this together'.
You want the same coding buddy feeling from codex, you can change it in the settings. /personality
I think the latest version has "sexy" as a personality.
(just kidding, it doesn't 😜)

English

@AriesTheCoder thats fair. i used both and codex feels more 'get shit done', claude feels more 'lets think through this together'. depends on what you want that day
English

@robinebers Surprisingly, the one constant out of all this was @warpdotdev - it's always been there. It's like the friend you had that liked you, but you had no feelings for and was always there, after all the exes, you find yourself married to an ai powered terminal.
English

Question for you is, is it fit for the purpose your requirements have evolved to?
If no and you have alternatives, phase it out and start using the alternative for a bunch of greenfield projects.
Then you can make the decision.
(did the same with Windsurf, Cursor, VSCode, Claude, Droid, Codex, Zed, KimiCode, Hermes Agent.
English

sometimes I think about leaving Cursor behind 🫠
it's still the best tool but I had so many conversations lately with people that feel the same
yes, it's the best AI agent there is
but the direction feels unclear, I sense a lack of vision
wish I'd know what their grand plan is, or if they have one
coming from an engineering and product owner background, this hits harder for me than others maybe, but I really hope they figure it out
