Her name is Noelia Castillo and tomorrow she will be the first person to receive euthanasia for depression in Spain. She was living in a supervised center with unaccompanied minors when she was gang raped by them. Afterwards, she tried to unalive herself by jumping from a fifth floor. But she became paraplegic instead. She’s 25 years old and today is her last day alive. Praying she can feel Jesus love before tomorrow and changes her mind. 🙏🏻

When TSA has been tested, it has failed to stop up to 80 percent of weapons smuggled through security. TSA to this day has never actually prevented a terrorist attack. There is not a single documented case of a terror plot foiled by TSA. On top of that, TSA was formed in response to 9-11, but 9-11 was not a failure of airport security. Airport security had basically nothing to do with it. So while this stand off over TSA funding continues, keep in mind that the agency shouldn't exist and is historically terrible at its job. We should privatize airport security again. Then it can't be used as a bargaining chip by politicians.

It’s called Christendom. It was the child of the Catholic Church. In every material way, it was far poorer than we are today. And yet it produced beauty on a scale we can barely imagine. Indeed, we still take many of our vacations to see it. Why? Because for all its flaws, it was oriented to God. We are not. We are oriented to ourselves. Even many of the popular forms of Christianity have largely been reduced to therapeutic psycho babble that can barely stand to hear the testimony of their ancestors, which uniformly speak of a far more intense and sacrificial faith than the one they have concocted for themselves. A faith that—as the cathedrals testify—despite having far less in material wealth, nonetheless produced far more beauty.
