British & German families came together at Abdinghof Church for a festive Christingle service. 🎶Beautiful music from the RAF Regiment Band and organ accompaniment filled the church. Children received Christingles representing the light of Christ. #Community #Christmas

H L O Davies became a prisoner of war in Hong Kong in December 1941. He was among 5,000 men held in Shamshuipo Camp. This Christmas gift of a wash-bag containing a handkerchief and a piece of soap was given to him by Miss M A L Currie; who became his wife after the war.
