This past Wednesday, November 13th, in preparation for this weekend’s city-wide planting, 1,200 trees were unloaded and sorted by volunteers. 201 of the trees, donated by Asplundh, were tagged with the names of the top home run hitters from the Philadelphia Phillies.

Oh and just recently, my dad retired from working at an arborist company called @Asplundh_Tree for many years that is basically the parent company of all the other smaller arborist companies, and he got to travel a whole lot for it! He’s been to all 50 states (and Canada) multiple times! He worked in the storm risk department, which means he taught people about tree safety in storms! Oh and the home office is in Willow Grove, PA, so not terribly far from you! But don’t worry about having to move to PA to work there, a lot of the workers are stationed all over the US! :)
