Happy Year of the Horse! I was fortunate to be looking out of the Cupola while we were passing over Beijing, and saw the twinkling of fireworks celebrating the Lunar New Year!

Ten years ago today we launched on the final flight of an American treasure - the Space Shuttle. Spending day with STS-135 crewmates Fergy and Sandy at KSC.

@StationCDRKelly Chuck Yeager was a great man. He used to fly with us at the 416th Flight Test Squadron at Edwards while he was in his 70s. We'll miss him, but his inspiration lives on.

Iconic Test Pilot General Chuck Yeager has slipped the surly bonds of earth. A WWII fighter ace and the first human to break the sound barrier. He was a true legend with the right stuff. Fair winds and following seas, General Yeager. #RIPChuckYeager
