
Dr. Roland Aydin is a Professor of Machine Learning in Engineering Sciences at TU Hamburg and leads the Department of Machine Learning and Data at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon.
His research spans machine learning, computational science, and large language models, with a focus on applying modern AI methods to complex scientific systems.
At Aurelius, Roland advises on system architecture and evaluation design - helping ensure Aurelius’s infrastructure applies rigorous machine learning methodology to alignment evaluation.
