I have learned to not take it personal when I see someone make a negative statement about a group I'm a member of. 1) I might not represent the population and everything isn't about me. 2) I rarely care enough to invest in a convo to change your mind.

@CrotserJeremiah @LouAnonAnon Tbh, your inability to see where she’s coming from is why a Tlaib presidency run is DOA. There’s no need to fear it. Tlaib can’t galvanize Democrats to vote for her because she dislikes the Democratic Party. People won’t vote for someone they think dislikes them.

@LouAnonAnon I can’t see functionally where you’re coming from but I mean a lot of of the Democratic Party is so willing to go along with what Israel wants that we have really and truly endorsed a genocide. That literally means like the murder of children. And she knew some of those families

Yeah no. I’m both a progressive and a strong vote blue no matter who proponent, and even I would be pretty unhappy about voting for Talib. It’s not even personal, I just don’t think someone who is openly hostile to the vast majority of her own party could ever get anything done.
soul khan@soulkhan

rashida tlaib is a much better candidate to reach rightly jaded voters and would have a nationwide zohran effect. and if name rec is a hollow objection, keep in mind that when bernie was really on fire in 2016, he was less of a known celebrity politician than aoc is now

@Pointedstick_ @SarahIronside6 I understand that. Do you understand why the OP is against it? Harsh criticism is very similar to opposition and coupled with the inability to deliver his audience…. why do you think everyone should embrace Piker?

@B10siris @SarahIronside6 I had a debate on this recently, and I compared Majority Report and Hasan. Both have different approaches, both have a similar message, both have different audiences. I like hasan's poignant perspective and harsh criticism. Is that hard to understand?

The only thing Hasan Piker has done with his platform is use the same racist and misogynistic red pill content and sprinkle it with cosplay communism while he actively benefits from capitalism. Democrats need to completely disassociate from this grift.

@Pointedstick_ @SarahIronside6 As a political commentator, the method is the entire point lmao. Why have a spokesperson who speaks in an inefficient or upsetting manner? Why have a spokesperson that doesn’t connect with your audience and hasn’t delivered their audience to your cause?

@SarahIronside6 I'm not going to debate the concept of "rape jokes", it was an example to highlight the lesser of 2 evils ethical construct we use in the US to justify heinous actions. So you disagree with the method, ok, but you don't disagree with his message.

@From_House_of_L @TomTaylorMade If Batman is fighting Dinah, he’s definitely not only doing it hand-to-hand lmao. When and how to utilize his many weapons is what makes Batman formidable.

@TomTaylorMade You make a random young man outrace Bruce in the first arc of your run. You like to sell Chimp as DC’s best detective, not Batman. Now, you’re gaslighting people into thinking Dinah is better than him in hand-to-hand combat. Just admit you hate Batman, man.

The Democratic Party should be the party for normal people, who think normally, have normal opinions and want to implement normal, common sense solutions to the issues we face. Being a democrat should be easy and normal. Saying America deserved 9/11 is not normal, saying Jewish people are inbred is not normal, making light of Ukrainians being under attack by Russia is not normal. As a Democrat I will not nor will I ever associate with or have that type of deranged thinking associated with the party.

@KuKhahil @DaKidGowie No way. These awards impact league history and player salaries. The best outcome is having the league decide instead of voters. 65 is also not arbitrary, but incorporates the games played by previous MVPs.

@DaKidGowie I think the problem is that yes you’re right it’s always been factored into awards but you allowed the voters to make that decision. Is 60 games of Jokic more valuable than 74 games of Bam Adebayo? Let them decide

I agree with almost everything he said, but the NBPA ain’t talking about a player who played 40-50 games (again I agree should not be considered), they talking about a guy who’s gonna miss the random 65 game number by 4 games because of a legit injury and not load management
𝓖𝓪𝓫𝓮 🍀@gabe_blessed

Jaylen Brown on his live stream talks about the 65 game criteria and calls fans out about for changing their opinions on it 👀 “Everyone was in support it, because guys were load managing, now all of a sudden people don’t want it anymore”

@ByVarunShankar Does the organization re-evaluate their numbers by sections of the season? I think the team is distinctly different from when Steven Adams was was healthy and now when Reed Sheppard is starting.

@fyrebear We’ve seen the all defensive lineups PLENTY. They have a lower ceiling and lose games. 10-3 when Sheppard starts. It’ll look ugly sometimes, but that’s the path

@fyrebear Ehh, I get it. To win, this team will have to outscore their opponents. With average three point shooting, Rockets win that game. The rest of the season, offensive execution is supreme. On the Rockets greatest defensive nights, they lose because they can’t score.

#Rockets gave up 132pts against the Bulls and I am seeing Rockets Twitter complaining about role player scoring. What are we doing here? They defensively gave up 132pts to the Bulls. The story of this game is not offense. If that is what you are talking about, reevaluate.

Let me help @realDonaldTrump, @SecRubio, and the rest of the US government. Amendment to the 1st Amendment: Any ideology, including one masquerading as a religion, that preaches doctrines that are against the foundational tenets of the US constitution and its liberties and freedoms, and that has a long history of established violent supremacy is henceforth banned. Religions that are seditious to our civilization are banned. Hope this helps.

@UNC_OG Simple truth is Reed plays better when he starts and Tari is the only player who’s play is poor enough to take out of the starting lineup.

Another terrible decision by Ime. Sacrificing the entire team/game to play Tari over Reed or even Okogie at this point. I think dude is point shaving at this point.

@KuKhahil But that’s just a thought experiment. KD can’t make that pass, and he is an excellent player w/o that skill. It’s bad coaching to force your best player to complete actions he can’t do. It’s bad coaching to put your teams in situations where they don’t excel.

HOU every possession forced LAL to double way beyond the 3pt line. There’s zero way in hell that a defense should be able to get away with doing that without giving up layups or wide open threes. Idk how you can blame a HC for consistently generating those advantages. If your counter is “I’d rather see them draw something up for KD off the ball that involves him catching the ball in immediate scoring situation” I don’t think that’s a bad idea or anything. But, imo, if that’s your takeaway instead of our superstar HOF player has to be able to make the first read and execute passes out of a trap beyond the arc that every on-ball player has to make in 2026, or that your offball players have to be able to make the simply extra swing pass, I think you’re just off based.

So like… The first clip HOU is running staggered screens to guarantee they get a bad matchup on KD. If LAL stays 1on1, KD just will kill them. If they send a double, you’re creating instant advantages for your offense with a 4on3. I know he addresses this in the clip, but truly if DFS can’t make that extra swing pass consistently HOU should not play him in 4th quarters and find someone who can, because Ime will watch this possession an say they got the exact look they wanted.
Drenchmansports@drenchmansports

22 turnovers… and the Rockets lose to the Lakers. Then Kevin Durant says-- “it’s on me, I am the offense.” I disagree. This falls on Ime Udoka. *** Film Breakdown
