@BATsDelaware

BATs is a pro-public education/social justice advocacy ACTIVIST group. Education justice IS social justice, IS racial justice. The three cannot be separated.

Education reform is essentially political “Science of” reformers do not want only policy and practice grounded in scientific evidence They want their stories and beliefs to drive policy and practice They balk at any evidence contradicting their stories/beliefs

It is so blatant now. Yet they still don’t get it. That even their own racism was created for them by the wealthy to keep them poor. Will they ever get it?

From what we can tell Mamdani walked into that office, stood there quietly, spoke when spoken to, and allowed Donald Trump to basically destroy any opportunity that the Republicans planned on using moving forward. x.com/Acyn/status/19… He admitted he was a fascist, and then on top of it told everybody that Mamdani was nothing like the stuff that was said about him during the campaign. Is he a Jihadist? “ no I don’t think so” This might be the simplest and easiest takedown of Donald Trump since he became president. I mean, the press conference wrote itself.

Doing what's best for the kids is always the right choice, even if it costs you your job. When your results are 3x better than Mike Miles' "prison curriculum," that's just the cherry on top. 🍒 #EducationMatters #StandUpForKids

How many opportunities for good teaching are lost every day due to bad curriculum? It's been 3 years since the changeover and I'm still finding my way back to what works

This year I’m only about grown-up conversations (like this) about public schools. No time - or energy - for temper tantrums. practicaltheory.org/blog/2025/08/1…

Genuinely not looking for a debate or to put anyone down I just find it utterly fascinating that someone would look at this classroom and think this is the ideal learning environment for children
