Boston College has hired UConn assistant Luke Murray as its head coach, sources told @thefieldof68. 

Murray has been with Dan Hurley for the past five seasons and been huge in the Huskies success - which includes back to back national titles. He’s also been an assistant at Louisville, Xavier, URI (with Hurley), Towson and Wagner (with Hurley). Murray is also the son of actor Bill Murray.

BREAKING: Boston College is finalizing a deal to hire UConn assistant Luke Murray as its next head coach, sources told me and @PeteThamel. Murray helped build back-to-back national champions at UConn and has established himself as an elite offensive tactician.

BC was widely believed to have the lowest-paid roster in the ACC this past season. Expect that to change with the hire of Luke Murray.
