We are excited to share a recent project from the lab where we took a look at different paths to AD pathology development, identifying multiple distinct trajectories: doi.org/10.1093/brain/… (1/6)

@TLAmphib Amazing job, Tom! Getting this project to the 11 year mark is a huge accomplishment. Not to mention all the great collaborations you built along the way and the road blocks you navigated. Congratulations!

Bittersweet weekend as we finished up the last year of sampling #salamander populations at Fort Leonard Wood, MO- 10 years of data out of the last 11 (like everyone else, excludes 2020...)

@Chatter_Nilovna @javirudolph Agree. Another reason to not lead with your salary expectations is that the same job title can have very different responsibilities at different companies and responsibility should drive salary. After interviewing and asking questions, you should have a much better sense.

Dipping my toes into industry and starting to send some applications. As a Quant Ecology PhD, hoping for a remote data scientist position. Just got asked my first salary expectation 🤓 so I'm outsourcing answers. No industry experience, just a newly minted PhD? #DataScience

@RachelPenczy I’m in the left academia group. I still get review requests, but it this point I’m far enough removed from the state of the field that I generally decline.

This was year number 10 surveying these ponds looking for paedomorphic adults- individuals that keep their gills and stay aquatic but can reproduce, like the big individual below.

It's here 🙆‍♀️ Really excited to have this chapter out in the world! We used a target neighbor exp to look at effects of climate change induced phenology and body size shifts on wood frogs and toads. Shifts affected post-morph competition but unexpectedly. link.springer.com/article/10.100…
