An award-winning community for Black men working in the legal profession and those who want to enter it.
So there are 161,623 practising solicitors in England and Wales. Black solicitors make up 4,849 of that number. Asian solicitors make up 19,395 of that number. I heard that supposedly 1% of solicitors are of Caribbean heritage, so I’m even 1 of 1,616. That’s very, very mad.
But look at community. A panel for Black men on our mental health, connecting with each other and removing the mask we put on to protect ourselves! Most importantly, they LOVED IT. One of the most senior Black male partners in the City came up to me enthralled after. Wow. #BCF24
