I get why people are fed up honestly, Sowore isn’t wrong to call attention to it. Nigerians are paying a lot for data and still dealing with dropped calls, slow speeds, and poor customer service. The big players MTN Nigeria, Airtel Nigeria, Globacom, and 9mobile—are making huge revenues, so expectations should match that. And regulators like Nigerian Communications Commission are supposed to protect consumers, not just watch things slide. Sowore is rightthis isn’t just about one company, it’s a system-wide issue. Nigerians are paying premium prices for subpar service, and both the telecoms and the regulators need to be held accountable. Enough excuses, we deserve real value for our money is really sad things get worse in this administration tufiakwa 🤮

We must #OccupyMTN. The exploitation of Nigerians by telecom operators can no longer be tolerated. While @MTNNG stands out for its dominant market share, it is not alone; @AirtelNigeria, @GloWorld, and @9mobile are also implicated in practices that shortchange subscribers. Nigerians deserve fair value, reliable service, and accountability from every operator, including the loafers @NgComCommission and @bosuntijani, Nigeria's Minister of Communications.

China hasn’t suddenly rolled out magic internet everywhere. What’s being talked about is early deployment of 10G (10 Gigabit per second) broadband infrastructure in select pilot areas. It’s extremely fast, yes—but it’s not nationwide, and most people won’t experience those speeds anytime soon. Also 6 movies in seconds is more of a hype statement. In perfect conditions, 10 Gbps could download large files very quickly, but real-world speeds depend on servers, congestion, device limits, and whether you even have hardware that supports it but at same time kudos they’re always 10 times ahead
