Labour’s "Fair" Work Agency launched this week. It might look like just another quango, but don’t be fooled. I’ve been through the documents. This is an anti-jobs regulator with Stasi-like powers of search, arrest, and surveillance. Here's Labour's next job killer... 🧵

How do we get growth? Trade is key. And with £200 billion of exports a year, @HeathrowAirport connects Britain to the rest of the world. That’s why its expansion can only be a good thing. I visited them to see this aviation superpower in action.

Labour are pinning our energy resilience on onshore wind. That’s just hot air. They need to urgently support investment in the North Sea oil and gas industry and reverse the damaging targeted tax rises.

Unemployment up. Growth down. That’s Rachel Revees’ legacy. She has no plan to turn things around, meanwhile thousands of businesses are bleeding out. Jobs are being lost, yet the Chancellor stumbles on.

Out of touch Labour MPs are gaslighting the public. They actually think "getting by is costing less" and growth is up! I don't know what planet they're living on, but I brought this one back down to reality on @GBNEWS today 👇

Andrew Griffith spent 25 years building businesses and creating British jobs. David Lammy spent 25 years as a career politician. He doesn't know a thing about business - just like every other Labour MP. They just don't understand the damage they're doing.

For too long, Government hasn’t given business what they really need. Cheap energy, simpler tax, less red tape. That is exactly what @Conservatives will do for business.

Socialism always leads to higher unemployment. If you increase costs on employers, jobs will suffer - 170,000 losses as of today. If Labour had an ounce of competence they’d understand that.

Labour and the Liberal Democrats are working together to make you poorer. By making it harder to run a business, they increase prices and destroy jobs. Different rosettes but the same result.

On Monday, the Lib Dems were against Labour beefing up their (Un)Employment Bill. Last night, they supported Labour! What changed? They were handed two extra peerages for their hereditary peers. A shameful betrayal of British business - they're not on your side.

The Lib Dems just sided with Labour to make strikes in the UK easier to call. This will shut down hospitals, the railways, schools - along with the rest of the economy. Why did they support Labour? Because they were given two extra seats in the House of Lords.

This is a huge U-Turn after Conservatives defeated the Government in the Lords. It's a relief for businesses, but make no mistake: this Bill is still not fit for purpose. It still means more strikes, fewer jobs, a banter ban, union right to roam businesses, and lower growth.

Labour have U-turned on their Union-written job killing (Un)Employment Bill! After months of campaigning from the Conservatives and business groups, day-one tribunal rights have been scrapped. But this Bill is still not fit for purpose. They should drop the whole thing.

Rachel Reeves is after your milkshake. She can't control public spending, she slashed growth, and now she's making you foot the bill. The Chancellor is totally out of her depth.

Socialism fails every time. Labour’s proved it again, reversing our economy straight back to the 1970s.
