It was reported to me that these same officers from the viral video have done it again. A victim shared how they were stopped around Abule Ado, taken to a corner, then handed over to the one in charge. From there, they collected his phone, threatened him, and extorted ₦204,000. There is even a receipt to back it up. The faces in these screenshots and videos are the same officers involved. This is not a one-off incident, it’s a pattern. How many more people have to go through this before something is done? This has to end.

Hello Nigerian Police, it’s Wednesday already.
We were told these four officers were on their way to Abuja yesterday to face the IGP… but since then, nothing. No update, no statement, just silence.
This can’t be another case that quietly disappears under the rug. Too many people are paying attention now. Nigerians are watching this closely and we deserve clear, public updates.
This shouldn’t end in handshakes and quiet dismissals behind closed doors. The same way those innocent boys were publicly traumatised, there must be visible accountability.
We’re still waiting. Don’t let this fade away.

A innocent Nigerian was invited to the Police (Ogombo Police Station) today, being 6th April 2026, being a public holiday, he had nothing to hide so he obliged.
He was detained in the morning & since then till now they’ve refused to tell him the basis arrest.
His lawyers got to the said station and requested to see the DPO, the said DPO refused to see his lawyers.
WHY IS THE DPO HIDING?
She later came out and instructed her officers to walk his lawyers out from the station.

Myself and 3 other Nigerians have been unlawfully detained in Johannesburg airport for literally doing nothing, papers complete, visa valid and they literally just singled us out of the crowd for nothing, and onenof us's phone has been seized all day and hasn't been allowed to reach out to anyone. They are trying to take my own phone now, so I am putting this out so that the world knows that if anything happens to us, south Africa should be held responsible, please repost and tag the authorities concerned.. They are saying that they will detain us for no reason until God knows when. The problem is the use of agents for South African visas. Apart from passport data pages, they fill in anything they wish. This way the travellers fail immigration interviews on their reasons for coming. One of them had also been insulting the SA govt online, so they already had him on their radar. When confronted with the insults, he was unable to defend himself. Not sure which of the three ??You are free to take it up when you return

It was reported that you ordered the DPO of Satellite Town, Lagos, to bring the officers involved in that disgraceful viral video to Abuja on Wednesday, 8th April 2026, for disciplinary action.
Let’s be very clear Nigerians are tired of hearing about “disciplinary actions” that nobody ever sees. For years, it has been the same empty routine: noise in the media, then silence, and suddenly the same officers are back on the streets harassing citizens like nothing happened.
This time, it must be different.@PoliceNG @PoliceNG_CRU
We demand that this disciplinary process be televised live on social media. Let Nigerians see real accountability for once not another round of “audio punishment” with no visible consequences.
Anything short of transparency will only reinforce the belief that nothing ever truly happens to erring officers.
This is not too much to ask. Nigerians are watching.

The officers involved in the unfortunate shooting incident that occurred today in Alagbado have been arrested and taken into custody. The Commissioner of Police has ordered a thorough and intensive investigation into the incident, as well as the adequate deployment of personnel to forestall any breakdown of law and order. Normalcy has been restored to the area. The Command assures the good people of Lagos State that justice will be served and the outcome of the investigation will be made public in due course.
