The conversation between the two presidents, the first since the beginning of March, is the main world news; Putin and Trump discussed Ukraine and the Middle East. As a result of the conversation, Moscow declared its readiness to cease fire on the occasion of Victory Day on May 9. President Putin thus agreed to Trump's request.
