I have thought about it and to be honest there’s nothing fun happening in marriage aside copulating to have kids.
The real fun is in the dating stage. When you get married, the vacation/outings and all other funs come to an end. You become two individuals whose entire lives revolve solely around raising kids, nothing more.
If you find your own person and you want to enjoy each other for life? Just date and travel the world till the end of your life. That marriage thing isn’t worth it.

English isn’t a yardstick for intelligence but the official language spoken in Nigeria is English and as a “self acclaimed national chairman” he should be able to communicate with everyone in our official language. I tilted my phone. He tilted his neck.
I reduced my brightness. He moved closer.
At that point I didn't know who was using the phone again.
I opened WhatsApp. He was reading.
Instagram. He followed.
Twitter. Still observing like an examiner.
The whole ride I could not enjoy my phone.
When we reached my stop I stood up and looked at him.
"Next time bring your own phone."
I stepped down.
