The weather forecasts here in the Yukon are completely untrustworthy. It seems like they've become worse over the years. I traveled with some family members to the states this summer and we were all amazed at how accurate the forecasts were. The forecast would say "rain starting in 5 minutes" and, sure enough, exactly 5 minutes later, the rain would start. We have nothing like that. Our forecasts are updated 3 times a day—and are often not close to right.

@StockRetail @CharlieSokaitis Expanding on “For those who believe.” He is the Savior of all of “those who believe” in Christ before they die. He is the opposite for those who willfully deny Him their entire lives, even on their death beds. Concerning making Aslan a woman…Jesus. was. male. The Son of God.

i saw you got some harsh replies, and you don't deserve that, so I'll offer my answer - Aslan represents Jesus. An actual, historical figure, and a man in a very literal sense. Then of course, for those who believe, the savior of the world and king of the universe. Whether one views him as simply a historical figure or the savior of humanity, the same principle applies: To portray a Jesus figure (Aslan) with a woman feels disrespectful at the least and willfully attacking at its worst. I'm not here to wage culture wars (waste of time and frankly I don't even think Jesus would have engaged in those) but in this case I just attempted to respectfully share my pov. Whether Hollywood wants to listen is up to them. Bottom line though - any hateful responses you got are dumb and you didn't deserve those

Dear Netflix, and Greta Gerwig, This is not brave, it is folly. You will alienate the entire fan base of the books and movies. You'll receive hate over this, I understand, and that is not right, so please hear a respectful person's feedback. This will be received as insulting, calculated, and completely disconnected from the spirit of the stories (in a very literal sense). There is no way around that. Please do not do this. It is your decision to make, but it will also be our decision to vote with our wallets and I, as but a sample size of 5 (my household) will not be interested in a female Aslan. It would genuinely be deeply insulting and will cause me to politely abstain. You won't receive hate from me (and millions like me) but you will wonder why we never showed up to see what could have been a beautiful rendition of a timeless classic. Thank you for your consideration

@Phil_Johnson_ Agreed. All change: volcanoes, floods, earthquakes, storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires…are smack in the middle of the preordained purposes of the Lord. This earth will pass away, but not before the proper time and not by our power. New heavens & earth? Amazing grace.

All of the climate "experts'"most sensational predictions have ALWAYS been wrong. The doomsday predictions go back to the '60s. That's 60 years of false alarms. Why is anyone still in a panic over rising ocean levels and melting polar caps?

Connections: Sports Edition Puzzle #4 Time: 07:06 🟣🟡🟣🟣 🟣🟣🟣🟣 🟢🟢🟡🟢 🔵🔵🟡🟢 🟡🔵🟡🟢 Not my game. Only got 🟣 because I know a name when I see it. (Not a spoiler, a duh.) That stinking timer is just more pressure, but it fits the sports theme, so there’s that.

@AdamPage85 I have friends who live in an area where there are no sound churches. They have gradually met like-minded people and now meet to do just this thing. The leadership of that church is aware of this and is planning to plant a church in their town. So there’s that.

I will never understand getting your family ready for church, getting them in the car, entering a building full of people to watch a man on a screen streaming from another location. Do not get it. Never want to do it. #sitechurches

Morning dog walk, 9:30 am, 17°C (62°F), mostly sunny. This is your luck day because I captured the sound of a winnowing snipe for you. Unfortunately for me, he was also winnowing loudly above the pond behind the house at 2:30 am.
